Event summary:
Friday the 18th of August 2006 was The BBB's second get together, and although it was a match played away from Fortress Loftus, five 'Bloggers' attended at the Bosman Stadium where a "mini-Loftus" crowd attended. In my guess, about 95% of the supporters were Blue Bulls! This time round Lippies was the person responsible for getting us Bloggers together to go to the event.
We met each other in the parking area behind the posts, where we could not miss Lippies's and Spy_007's huge flag. There we had a braai and then decided to go to the Stadium seen that there were no seat allocations - first come first served! I am sure you will agree with me that Bosman Stadium is not one of the nice stadiums in SA, however, we managed to snuggle up close to avoid the rather nippy air.
We all know that the game itself was not spectacular, however, the Bulls came away with a 77-13 victory over the Valke. It's true - see in the picture below for yourself what the scoreboard read! We managed to get a nice photo after the game with spy_007's flag as backdrop. You can also view a short movie of Spy_007 waving his flag.
